Here is ´a little´photo diary from my trip to Berlin couple weeks ago. Enjoy!
Above: Waiting at he Birmingham airport and taking some outfit selfie snap before my flight.
Arriving to my hotel Motel One at Alexanderplatz. Even though it was a motel, I definitely reccomend to stay there.
All above: exploring the city of Berlin.. walked just around the Alexanderplatz.
I was so exhausted that day, so I couldn´t say no to this chocolate cake and ice frappe with whipped cream. It is so reminded me my home.
Back at my hotel room, trying to plan my stay, and do a little bit of work.
Choosing the outfit that would represent me as a ´journalist & blogger & fashion commentator”.
There would not be a day without a cup of coffee. You know me well alredy.
After my breakfast, I head to the undeground (for the first time in Berlin I did not get lost), well until I arrived at my station and walked completely to the other way :D. But I found my way at the end and was welcomed in the D-LOFT.
Got to know how all the design were produced, saw the first samples and met the designers.
The Danish designer, how funny is that? I am working and seeing designs from Denmark every single day, and even if I go to Berlin, I meet a Danish designer Mads Dinese.
Very creative and coloruful shoes by Nova Chiu. Did you guys know that I definitely saw their designs already at London Fashion Week, last and the previous seasons? How funny is that, and here we go again – Berlin is the destination.
The designer for tomorrow (the press release says) and it is totally true. I do love this design (alongside Lenka´s: see more here) the most. Sam Frenzel, the German designer.
Before hitting the road back to the airport, I took some lunch in the D-loft and met some fellow bloggers too.
OK, time to go and so changing into flats for the comfortable journey back to UK.
As it was so hot in Berlin, I decided to swap into sandals… at the aiport, waiting to check in. One of my must haves for travelling is definitely this floral scarf By Malene Birger.
Got a little suprise (as everybody else in the plain), in my snack box I had a little chocolate ´Goodbye Berlin boy´. How cute.
And this is it. Back in UK… stay tuned.
