Marchesa SS14 Runway
Looking at Marchesa collection, it is bringing me back to a princess time, where you are surrounded by your dreams. Look at the beautiful embroidered pieces. The drama with softies details is executed with a bohemian touch.
Colour palette such as gold and cream is just clear vision to luxury and lace perfectionism…that’s what I am talking about! They said that bloggers never make any critiques on a collection or don’t have a valued feedback. But how can you if there is something beautiful as Marchesa line!
I love when you can mix a soft with dark, so I would definitely wear mine Marchesa dress with a leather jacket for instance. How about you?
Marc by Marc Jacobs SS14 Runway
Ohhh, Marc by Marc Jacobs, what could you possibly expect from a king of the runway. The collection itself expressing the feel for prints. The generation of youngsters will love this (I think I do too, partly … But honestly… here is a question: Can I still consider myself as young? ohh, totally!) Sporty looks inspired by the Sixties. Heavy used of metal effect, or creation of off duty aka “sleeping suit” slash satin pyjama. Why don’t we just all have a pyjama party?
On The other hand, Sarah Harris stated for vogue.co.uk: The collection was convincing as the eastern European athletic team costumes! And if you know or not, even better if you come from eastern Europe, you totally can picture the early times of mandatory athletes bringing their highest believe of they are doing something great, and being all in the same ‘uniform’.
Honestly, it needs a courage to bring some memories back to some parts of Europe, however the young consumers will love it and live with it!!!
