Hello beautiful,

here is my little ‘brainwork’  about this outfit. I divided it in three parts (as a little test) to find out if it is easier to read it through. I might be using it more often in particular posts in a future, so you know. Keep reading.

PRINT: I finally got a printed trousers and I love them, but I do really want to experiment with prints little bit more. So I am looking for a perfect pieces as a complete look, trousers and jacket that I could wear together or separately. Of course, the blogosphere was ‘fringed’ with printed outfits all the way from beginning of this and previous seasons. But I always have my  time that feels right. That’ s about to be yourself (#1). But I wonder, what do you think about prints?

BASICS: As I mentioned in my previous posts, I love basics. This American Vintage Grey Tee goes so well with my patterned trousers and it is so easy to wear. So if you thinking of wearing a print, but it may or not be the way how you dress, but want to experiment (which is great), dress it down with natural colour tops or bottoms, as I have done here. However, don’t ever forget about my thoughts above (aka #1).

COLOUR: I was never fun of blue, but this season. I am surrounded by cobalt in every corner. So I said to myself, why not? I ended up not only with this printed trousers, but my iPhone case, a new handbag and I also love pair of denim in cobalt blue = it is just everywhere, don’t you think?

My day 2 in Brighton last weekend was absolutely great. It was sunny and warm (thanks weather for that) and I could wear just a sandals and tee.

I don’t know if you have any habit when you go for a longer weekend holiday, but I tend to pack with me just enough. I don’t get crazy comparing to other holidays. For that reason I decided to give you few tips (especially what I found usefull) when it comes to packing.

#1  I recommend to concentrate and take with you some of your favourite accessories…. I did take with me few of my lovely Spring/Summer finds; By Malene Birger scarf, Steve Madden bag and Marni for H&M silver sandals (from last season). I can mix the scarf with other basic tops, as it always adds the last bit for the outfit.

#2 Another great tip is to wear a classic T-shirt, such as this grey by American Vintage – the material is very comfortable, the shape makes my hips smaller, thanks to the wider end of the T-shirt and the colour is classy ( I do have this basics also in white and summer colours such as pink and ocean blue). What can I say, I live basics!

#3 Taking with you a great pair of flat shoes is a must, so why not some stand out piece? You know what they say, shoes finishes the look.

If I travel for a weekend to relax and chill out, I do usually take only necessary things. That´s why everyone loves capsule wardrobe, to make it easy for yourself, and take only what you need. Of course, now I am talking about practical way, but I always love fashion, so there has to be something stylish. About a week ago me and my boyfriend decided to go for a weekend to Brighton. I knew will be mostly enjoying the time together walking by the pier, searching for a nice food and coffee. You have to think in advance what to take with you. So here is my first outfit that I wore on Saturday.

Firstly, having a comfortable knit is a must here in UK, even by the beach, it gets windy. I do love classic T-shirts by American Vintage that I wear all the time, and have them in many colours (but you can see that one). Great ankle jeans with calf rolled up? There would not be a weekend without it. My jeans are SS13 Sulphur Green by AG Adriano Goldshmied, I am thinking of getting blue as well – very comfortable. Sandals from last year by Marni for H&M, I wore them so far only few times, but I love the look, it is different. The bag is my new addition to a collection, Steve Madden, the colour is also very unusual, but I got it because of the shape, perfect for browsing the city without carrying many other stuff. Believe me, the bag let you to leave many things (that you don´t need) in a hotel room. And last detail, a must for a holiday, even Summer one is this scarf By Malene Birger. As you may already know, I have a full time job, working as a stylist for one independent store. The other day I was putting together a holiday capsule wardrobe for our event and social media (as if I am not blogging here on TCG, I am blogging there), but don´t worry I am trying to keep up to updated you here as well. Well, as I was styling our model (and my friend, I though why not to take some photographes in my outfit that I wore to work.

When it comes to putting together last pieces before any fashion event that we are hosting or finalizing outfits for catwalk show or photoshoot, I always prefer to feel comfortable in flat shoes and sweatshirt. To be ready run the stairs thousand times, browsing the city and buying last bits and bobs. But tell me, what do you think about the ice-cream corns and canvas, all in a holiday mood? We usually make all our decoration, isn’t it great?

I will soon shoot my own Holiday Capsule Wardrobe in collaboration with Stripes Fashion, to show you some of my tips. Just need to get the right weather, but hey, umbrellas are in style here in UK.

ZARA Leather Effect Shorts

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I had a short break in Brighton last weekend. And that would not be me and TCG style if I would not get something for myself. I did only go to few stores, otherwise just chilling out with my boyfriend by the beach, in restaurants, coffee shop and enjoying each other. One of the stores that I visit is high street ZARA. I saw a brown shorts in leather effect and that was a must have for me. Firstly, before I can start wearing them (we have to got a better weather here in UK), I have to tun my legs a bit, so paild after the long winter season.

As the May is here, and I haven´t wished for spring wardrobe yet, so why not now :). I have teamed up with online shopping destination Avenue32 and create this wishlist board. As the print is so in style right now, I couldn´t be left behind. And of course, minimalism and monochrome completes the TCG style.

Anderson, Jonathan Saunders and Erdém Moralioglu. talking about what it takes to be a designer nowadays. And lastly a fashion etrepreneur, founder of net-a-porte-com, Natalie Massenet that had such a inspiring talk that I am still recovering from whad did she achieved. I feel like I am just a snow white queen here on these photogoraphs, I love my By Malene Birger White Blazer that I mixed with also same designer BMB scarf. Mixing print in this outfit was a great idea, stripes with flovers. To complete the look, I have a white nail vanish and also wearing white jeans, so absolutely snow white queen, hehe.
